In this 13 x 52-minute documentary series, we follow Simon d’Amours behind the wheel of his bus, converted into a home on wheels, as he reflects on his nomadic lifestyle.
Through his daily life, we discover what it’s like to live on the road, to earn money through resourcefulness, all while facing sometimes extreme conditions.
Simon is our ambassador, taking us on a journey over several months to meet exceptional individuals; French-speaking people from Northern Canada who, like him, have built their lives around discovery and adventure.
In each episode, Simon meets an individual, a friend, a couple, or a family who lives a unique life in the heart of the Yukon territory. He will spend several days with these folks, discovering their way of life, their often temporary homes, their passions, and the obstacles they face. Before, during, and after each encounter, Simon will wonder if he will be able to make a living from his passions and find the right balance between happiness and survival.
