Manito Média and Média RendezVous are two production companies based in Winnipeg that combine their creativity to tell powerful and authentic stories.

Our mission? To share inspiring, often overlooked stories that shine a light on voices, places and people from here and everywhere.

Our two production companies and collaborators come together to create multiplatform content in French, English and Indigenous languages, such as documentaries, children’s programming, dramas, animated series, music programs, reality TV and more. Faithful to the intrepid spirits of our ancestors, Manito Média and Média RendezVous form a crossroads where cultures, languages and talents meet to offer the world unique and vibrant stories.

Patrick Punch Clément

Patrick Clément

Co-founder

First of his name, producer, master of numbers and Excel spreadsheets, reviewer of legal documents, defender and supporter of a first-class production team.

Patrick co-founded Manito Média in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Université de Saint-Boniface/University of Manitoba and is also a graduate of a joint Law/MBA program at the University of Western Ontario and the Richard Ivey School of Business. In July 2006, he was called to the Ontario Bar.
Patrick's experience in the television industry began in 2005, when he completed a legal internship at the law firm Goodmans LLP in Toronto. He then served as in-house legal counsel at Insight Sports Inc., the operator of television stations such as World Fishing Network, GolTV, and Casino and Gaming Television.

Upon returning to Manitoba, Patrick further developed his skills at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he worked as a consultant. He is very involved in his community and sits on several committees, thus continuing his mission of engagement and support for local projects.

First of his name. Guardian of the House of Production and tireless champion of all the storytellers and unsung heroes who bring epic tales to life.

From performing as a young boy on the planks of his community theatre in Winnipeg to the other side of the world and back, Chuck's passion for storytelling and communications is what inspired him to launch Media RendezVous Inc. (MRV.) Two decades later, along with his brother Patrick and their sister-company Manito Média Inc., and reinforced by a team of dedicated employees and countless brilliant freelancers, MRV has produced and co-produced over 700 episodes of network television, totalling over 100 million dollars in production volume in all genres and in multiple languages.

Chuck has created, produced, hosted, researched, written, directed, acted in, coordinated, cable-pulled and PA’d thousands of hours of television for broadcasters such as Radio-Canada, APTN, Québecor, Bell Media, Rogers Sportsnet, UnisTV, CityTV, Shaw, CBC, CanWest Global, TSN, TVO, TFO, Knowledge and SCN. He has also played a key role in the broadcast and communications teams of international sporting events, such as the Olympic Games, Pan American Games and the IAAF World Championships in Athletics.
Equally at home in front of the camera as he is behind it or in the boardroom, Chuck completed his formal education as an honours student of the University of Manitoba / Université de Saint-Boniface (B.Sc.) as well as Toronto Metropolitan University (B.A.A. in Radio and Television Arts). He is also a graduate of the International Institute for Television Leadership in Banff, AB, and also studied documentary filmmaking at the Bournemouth Media School in Bournemouth, UK and acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia.

Chuck is active in the production community as a mentor for emerging storytellers and a past and present member of the board of directors of organizations such as l’Académie canadienne du film et de la télévision and On Screen Manitoba. When he’s not on set or at the production office, Chuck can be found on the ski slopes, on the golf links or on the field of play coaching his kids' sports teams!

Dominique Durand

A numbers expert, head of treasury, detective of accounting challenges, and, in her spare time, queen of homemade cookies.

Dominique joined the Manito Media team in 2012 after earning her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Université de Saint-Boniface, specializing in human resources management. Over the years, her role within the company has expanded, and she now heads the finance department. Always eager for new challenges, Dominique obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2020. She admits to having a “penchant for detail,” a quality that is perfectly suited to her work!

When Dominique is not immersed in her calculations, she can be found hiking, travelling, baking, or planning her next adventure.

First of her name, producer and content supervisor, overseer of zany cartoons, dog whisperer and pushover for cats.

Whether in front of the camera, behind it, or in the production room, Louise enjoys every aspect of film, video, and television productions. She has a particular fondness for voice-over work and for many years (but not too many!), she has directed actors in the studio, while also playing a variety of characters herself.

An avid reader, Louise thrives on the stories and experiences of others. She believes that stories broaden our view of the world and of ourselves. Telling a story through audiovisual production is therefore not simply a matter of entertainment, but a way to awaken the mind and open up new perspectives. She is delighted to be part of the Manito Média team and looks forward to sharing new stories!

Sébastien Nasse

First of his name, director of business affairs, architect of financing structures, guardian of contracts, and alpine skiing enthusiast.

Sébastien began his career in the media industry in 2004 when he joined Manitoba Film & Music (the provincial funding agency), first as a tax credit analyst and then as senior analyst of tax credits and financing programs.

With a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Manitoba, specializing in finance and international business, Sébastien furthered his interest in the administrative side of production by completing a certificate in film studies at the Université de Montréal. He also holds a translation certificate from the Université de Saint-Boniface.

A passionate traveller, Sébastien also enjoys downhill skiing and snowmobiling.

Saida Kinnarath Benzie

Second of that name, keeper of the books, receiver and payer of accounts, reporter of cost reports, and accountant of the smallest coins.

Saida joined the Manito Media team in 2019, bringing with her accounting experience in the restaurant and wellness sectors. Relatively new to the film and production industry, she particularly enjoys learning something new every day and hopes to continue to develop in this field.

Her future goals include continuing her studies and becoming fluent in French with her coworkers... which should happen quickly! In her free time, Saida loves to cook, travel, discover new music, and roller skate!

Pillar of logistics, repairman of everything that breaks, protector of last-minute print jobs, always ready to go... or to go snowmobiling.

Marco joined the Manito Media team in 2020, shortly after completing his Business studies. With a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Asper School of Business of the University of Manitoba, specializing in marketing, Marco makes sure to always bring his creative skills to work.

When Marco isn't at the office, he can often be found outdoors. He is passionate about fishing, golfing, camping, and all activities that allow him to enjoy the great outdoors. He loves spending time outside with his friends and family.

Miguel Gauthier

Guardian of treasures, deadline monitor, deal maker, project assembler, and a surprisingly modestly skilled golfer.

Miguel has been working in the television industry since 2014. He joined Manito Média after several years of experience in documentary series, variety shows, and live broadcasts. A graduate of the Université de Saint-Boniface in Multimedia and Communication, Miguel also completed training in Television Production Management at the Institut national de l'image et du son in Montreal. A proud Franco-Manitoban, he is passionate about the Canadian Francophonie and never takes for granted the opportunity to create content in French.

A creative and enthusiastic person, Miguel has an eye for detail and aesthetics. He loves teamwork and is always ready to guide his coworkers in order to ensure the success of the productions with finesse and efficiency.
When he's not at the office, Miguel enjoys spending time with family and friends, and he's always up for a round of golf on a beautiful summer day.

Emelie Perron

Credit card master, expert in government funding requirements, QBO genius, plant lover, and outstanding gardener.

Emelie joined the Manito Media team in 2020, bringing with her 14 years of experience in public accounting. With a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the Asper School of Business of the University of Manitoba, specializing in accounting, Emelie worked for an accounting firm where she managed several internal and client files, thus gaining extensive experience.

The opportunity to discover the fascinating world of television accounting (and to work with her best friend) motivated her to join the team. Emelie is also proud to share her Métis roots through Indigenous projects produced by Manito Media.

When she's not at work, her two young daughters keep her busy and make up the ideal audience for some of the preschool programs that Manito Media is producing.

Aimé Boisjoli

From the house of Joli Bois, he is the mighty oak tree, always firmly rooted when it comes to saving delivery schedule updates and meeting the needs of broadcasters. He can withstand the worst storms—hail, lightning, torrential rains—without losing a single branch in the chaos.

A proud Franco-Métis and holder of an MBA from the Asper Business School of the University of Manitoba, Aimé recently came back to audiovisual production and post-production. His career began in the audiovisual industry and event management in Winnipeg almost 20 years ago. Initially a presenter in front of the camera, he then moved behind the camera as a coordinator and production assistant.

Over the years, Aimé has held various roles in the performing arts industry, including actor, sound and lighting technician, and executive director of an arts organization where he produced over 100 musical events. He also worked for four years as an arts consultant for the Manitoba government.

William Klippenstein

Editor & Media Manager

Master of media and equipment, architect of daystacks and editing, tireless coffee drinker, and avid video game player.

William joined the Manito Media team in 2022 as an Assistant Editor and began editing documentaries in 2024. With his deep understanding of the technical processes of post-production, he ensures that every project, especially documentaries and reality TV series, is a success. If he doesn't know the answer to a question, he always knows where to find it, and he brings his infectious enthusiasm to every project he works on.

In his spare time, William works for the Winnipeg Football Club as a Video Broadcast Operator, providing replays for the Manitoba Bisons, the Valour FC, and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (Go Big Blue!).
