But people are taking action to try to reverse this trend. They have conceived initiatives, both large and small, with good intentions—solutions that, when combined, can snowball and bring about real and beneficial change for the environment. Christian Pilon is a modern Franco-Métis who is concerned about the future of the planet. He sets out to meet those who are acting with heart to protect it. Advised by a group of elders from the Indigenous community, Christian is curious about promising solutions and methods. He wants to understand them, if not experience them himself, so that viewers can see that there is still time to act. Christian carries with him the values of his Indigenous heritage. He has a point of view and he has chosen his side: for him, nature is sacred and humanity must rediscover a harmonious relationship with it if it wants to survive.
La terre en nous is a new series that is entertaining, inspiring, and educational. The series is aimed particularly at the 18-30 age group, a generation ready to participate in change. Through Christian’s authentic, inquisitive, and human quest, we will meet people in action who are working on solutions and who inspire viewers to take part in change and reconnect with their environment.
