First of his name. Guardian of the House of Production and tireless champion of all the storytellers and unsung heroes who bring epic tales to life.

From performing as a young boy on the planks of his community theatre in Winnipeg to the other side of the world and back, Chuck’s passion for storytelling and communications is what inspired him to launch Media RendezVous Inc. (MRV.) Two decades later, along with his brother Patrick and their sister-company Manito Média Inc., and reinforced by a team of dedicated employees and countless brilliant freelancers, MRV has produced and co-produced over 700 episodes of network television, totalling over 100 million dollars in production volume in all genres and in multiple languages.

Chuck has created, produced, hosted, researched, written, directed, acted in, coordinated, cable-pulled and PA’d thousands of hours of television for broadcasters such as Radio-Canada, APTN, Québecor, Bell Media, Rogers Sportsnet, UnisTV, CityTV, Shaw, CBC, CanWest Global, TSN, TVO, TFO, Knowledge and SCN. He has also played a key role in the broadcast and communications teams of international sporting events, such as the Olympic Games, Pan American Games and the IAAF World Championships in Athletics.
Equally at home in front of the camera as he is behind it or in the boardroom, Chuck completed his formal education as an honours student of the University of Manitoba / Université de Saint-Boniface (B.Sc.) as well as Toronto Metropolitan University (B.A.A. in Radio and Television Arts). He is also a graduate of the International Institute for Television Leadership in Banff, AB, and also studied documentary filmmaking at the Bournemouth Media School in Bournemouth, UK and acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia.

Chuck is active in the production community as a mentor for emerging storytellers and a past and present member of the board of directors of organizations such as l’Académie canadienne du film et de la télévision and On Screen Manitoba. When he’s not on set or at the production office, Chuck can be found on the ski slopes, on the golf links or on the field of play coaching his kids’ sports teams!
